Getting Started with CompanyCam

Learn how to download CompanyCam, set up your account, invite your team, create a Project, and share photos with clients.

CompanyCam keeps every job photo organized by Project the moment it's taken. No more hunting through texts or camera rolls. Your whole team stays aligned from the field to the office.

Download the app

  1. Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

  2. Search for CompanyCam.

  3. Tap Get or Install.

  4. Tap Open once it's finished.

You can also log in at app.companycam.com from any desktop browser.

Create your account

Open the app or visit companycam.com > tap Sign Up > enter your company name, work email, and a password > follow the prompts to finish.

Invite your team

CompanyCam works best when your whole crew is involved. Invite employees as Users so they can upload photos and access Projects from day one.

Go to Team > Invite Users > enter their email addresses and assign a permission role.

Not sure which role to assign? See User Permission Roles Explained for a full breakdown.

Create your first Project

A Project keeps every photo, note, and update for a single job in one place. Create a Project for each job site, property, or customer.

  1. Tap + Create on the Project feed and select + New Project.

  2. Enter a project name, address, and any other details.

  3. Tap Create.

Take and upload photos

Inside your Project, tap the camera icon to take a photo or tap (+) then Upload Photos to add existing photos from your device. Once photos are in, you can add descriptions, comments, or markup directly on them.

Turn on date and time stamps in your settings if you want them applied automatically to every photo taken through the app.

Share with customers

This is where CompanyCam earns its keep. Send clients a link to their job progress and cut the "can you send me an update?" calls for good.
