Creating Posts for Socials using Marketing Suite

Turn your CompanyCam projects into ready-to-share social media content in just a few clicks.

Post photos and videos to social media directly from any Project — or build a Showcase first for a more curated presentation. You can post to Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and YouTube whenever you want, as many times as you want.


This feature is part of the Marketing Suite Add-on and is only available on the web app.


Showcase your work on social media

Note: Only Admins and Managers can access the Marketing Suite.

Post directly from a Project

  1. Open the Project you want to share from.

  2. Select the photos or videos you want to post.

  3. Click Share within the actions menu, then select Post to Social.

  4. Customize your post for each connected platform.

  5. Click Publish Now or Schedule for Later.

Post from a Showcase

  1. Click Showcases in the left sidebar.

  2. Click the + Showcase Icon.

  3. Select the Project you want to Showcase.

  4. Update the Showcase details: Title, Description, Project Type, and Materials Used.

  5. From the Publish screen, you can customize the images for each post type before publishing:

    - To add images, click the + Add Photos Icon within the post preview.

    - To remove an image, hover over it and click the Remove Icon.

    - To reorder images, drag and drop them into your preferred order.

  6. Hover over a photo and click the Make Cover Photo Icon to set your cover.

  7. Click Confirm.

  8. Click + Connect Channel, then follow the prompts to connect each social account.

  9. Open the dropdown for each channel and choose how to post: As a Reel, As an Image, or As a Carousel.

  10. Click Publish Now.


Schedule social media posts

  1. Build your post using the steps above.

  2. Click the dropdown next to Publish Now, then select Schedule for Later.

  3. Pick the date you want, then click Save.


Edit a post

  1. Click Showcases in the left sidebar.

  2. Select the Showcase you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit in the top-right corner.

  4. Make your changes, then click Confirm.

  5. Update your channels, then click Publish Now or Schedule for Later.


View social media analytics

  1. Click Dashboard on the left-hand side panel.

  2. From here, you should see your Marketing Dashboard, which will provide your social media analytics.


Manage social media channels

  1. Click Dashboard in the left sidebar.

  2. Click the Channels icon at the top.

  3. Click Manage Channels.

  4. Click Disconnect next to any channel you want to remove.


FAQs

Can I connect a social account to each location?

Social media accounts can't be connected to individual locations. Each platform supports 1 account, and it applies across your whole CompanyCam account.

Can I schedule posts for different times per platform?

Scheduled posts go out at the same date and time across every connected platform. You can't stagger them by channel right now. They post all at once.
