Managing your Google Business Profile in Marketing Suite

Keep your business info current and upload photos to your Google Business Profile without leaving CompanyCam.

Marketing Suite connects to your Google Business Profile (GBP) through a one-time OAuth setup. Once connected, updates you make in CompanyCam sync to your GBP automatically — no need to log into Google separately.

What syncs from CompanyCam to Google

When you update any of the following in CompanyCam, your GBP updates automatically within 1 hour:

  • Business hours

  • Services offered

  • Service locations

  • Business description

  • Contact information (phone, website, email)

  • Business categories

Click Save Changes after making any edits.

Note: Sync is one-directional. Changes made in CompanyCam push to Google, not the other way around.

Managing your Google Business Profile

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Settings.

  2. Click Edit Profile.

OR

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Click Edit Profile within Google Profile Strength.

  3. From here, review your Profile fields. Any incomplete fields are hurting your Profile Strength score.

Upload Photos to your Google Business Profile

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Settings.

  2. Click Edit Profile.

OR

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Click Edit Profile within Google Profile Strength.

  3. In the Google Business Profile editor, click Upload Photos in the bottom left of the window.

  4. From there, select a file from your computer, from a URL, or from your CompanyCam Project Library. Once your photos are selected click, Upload Photos.

Note: The Other ways to boost your profile section at the top of the panel shows quick actions like adding a logo, cover photo, at-work photos, and team photos. These are shortcuts to the same upload flow.

Add a nickname for your Google Business Profile

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Settings.

  2. Click Edit Profile.

OR

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Click Edit Profile within Google Profile Strength.

  3. Within the Google Business Profile editor, find the Nickname box under Basic Information, type in the nickname, and click Save.

Adding Multiple Google Business Profiles

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Settings.

  2. Click Switch and select Add Location in the dropdown.

OR

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Click your company name above Marketing Dashboard and select Add Location.

  3. From there, log in with the Google account associated with this location.

Switching between Google Business Profiles

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Settings.

  2. Click Switch and select another location in the dropdown.

OR

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Click your company name above Marketing Dashboard and select another location in the dropdown.

Does uploading photos through CompanyCam improve my Google Profile Strength score?

Yes. The Google Profile Strength score in Marketing Suite factors in whether your Google Business Profile has key photos like a logo, cover photo, team photos, and at-work photos. Uploading these photos through CompanyCam updates your Profile and can raise that score.

Can I upload photos from my CompanyCam Projects to my Google Business Profile?

Yes. When uploading photos to your Google Business Profile from the Edit Profile screen, you can select photos from your computer, from a URL, or from your CompanyCam Project Library.

Is it an extra cost to add multiple GBP locations?

No. All locations are included under a single $99/month subscription.

Is there a limit on how many GBP locations I can connect?

There is no limit on the number of locations you can connect.

Can I view data across all locations at once?

Not yet. Marketing Suite shows one location at a time. Use the location dropdown to switch between them.

What's the difference between the GBP connection Marketing Suite and the Reviews feature on standard plans?

On standard plans without the Marketing Suite add-on, you can connect your GBP to view reviews. With Marketing Suite, you also get two-way sync for business info, photo uploads, the ability to request new reviews, and automatic GBP posting when you publish a Showcase.
