Have a PDF form your crew already uses? The Assistant can turn it into an editable Document Template that looks as close to the original as possible. You skip the work of rebuilding it by hand.

Convert a PDF into a Template
Note: Admins and Managers can create Document Templates.
Open the CompanyCam Assistant and describe what you want, like "Turn this PDF into a Document Template."
Attach the PDF you want to convert. You can select an existing PDF in a Project, or upload a new one from your computer.
Wait for the Assistant to finish building the Template.
Open the new Template and review it.
Note: This takes longer than most Assistant requests. While the Assistant is generating the Template, feel free to continue working.
The Assistant uses the same tools you'd use to build a Template yourself, like sections, tables, and fields, to match your original form. See Creating Document Templates to fine-tune the result.

The Assistant gets as close to your original form as it can using what Documents already support. Review the Template before you use it and adjust anything that's off.
