Document Templates let you save a Document's layout and reuse it across Projects. Set one up once for daily logs, job-site reports, close-out docs, whatever your crew runs on, and apply it in seconds instead of starting from scratch every time.
This feature is available on select plans.
On the web
Open your Project and click on the Documents Tab.
Click + Add, then select Create from the dropdown. From here, a new blank Document will open.
Once your new Document is open, you can choose from recommended AI-generated Templates like Report, Daily Log, or Summary. Select More Templates to see other options.
Note: To create a blank Document without using a Template, you can begin editing the Document, and the Template options will disappear.
Here you can view your recently used Templates and filter by Your Company Templates, Example Templates, and AI Templates. Click on the Template you'd like to use.
After making a selection, you'll see a preview of the Template. Click Use Template.
A Table of Contents stays pinned on the side so you can jump around long documents without scrolling.
In the app
Open the Project and tap on the Documents Section.
Tap on the + Button at the bottom of the page.
Tap the Document option from the slide-up menu.
A new Document will open. Here, you can choose to use the Report, Walkthrough, or Daily Log AI Template, or for more options, select More Templates.
In the Templates Library, you can filter by Your Company Templates, Example Templates, and AI Templates. Tap on the Document Template you want to use.
You will be directed to a preview of the Template you selected. Review and tap Use.
