Time Tracking gives Admins and Managers a full view of their crew's hours from the web. Add or fix entries when something goes wrong, configure reminders so the crew stays on top of clocking in and out, and export a clean CSV when it's time to run payroll.
This feature is in Beta. Plan availability is subject to change. Managing Time Tracking is only available on the web app.
Viewing the Time Tracking Report
Note: Only Admins and Managers can view time entries for other team members. Standard and Restricted Users can view only their own time.
Log in to CompanyCam > go to Time Tracking, then click + New Entry in the upper-right corner. Enter the time details for the team member, then click Clock This User In.
Each entry shows its source, so you can see whether it was created in the mobile app or on the web. Entries from the mobile app also show the clock-in location when the User has location permissions turned on.
Creating a time entry
Note: Only Admins and Managers can create entries on behalf of other Users.
Log in to CompanyCam > go to Time Tracking, then click + New Entry in the upper-right corner. Enter the time details for the team member, then click Clock This User In.
Editing a time entry
Note: Only Admins and Managers can edit entries for other Users. Standard and Restricted Users can edit only their own entries.
Log in to CompanyCam > go to Time Tracking in the left sidebar, find the entry, then click the 3 Dots Icon > Edit. Make your changes and click Save.
Deleting a time entry
Note: Only Admins and Managers can delete entries for other Users.
Go to Time Tracking, click the 3 Dots Icon next to the entry, then click Delete.
Exporting time data
Note: Only Admins and Managers can export time tracking data.
Log in to CompanyCam > Time Tracking in the left sidebar.
Apply any filters to adjust the data you want to export.
Click Export at the top of the page. Your entries download as a CSV based on the current view.
Setting up time tracking reminders
Note: Only Admins and Managers can manage reminder settings.
Reminders are push notifications that go out only to crew members who haven't clocked in or out yet — so no one gets a nudge they don't need.
Log in to CompanyCam > Time Tracking in the left sidebar.
Click Reminders in the upper-right corner.
Toggle Clock-In Reminders and Clock-Out Reminders on or off, then set the time and days that match your crew's schedule.
Click Save.

Standard users can view only their own time entries. They can't see or edit anyone else's data.

Restricted users can clock in and out and view their own entries, but they can't access reports or time tracking settings.

A few safeguards are in place. A configurable clock-out reminder goes out to anyone still clocked in at a set time. If a timer runs 9+ hours, a long-running timer alert fires. At midnight, the system stops the timer automatically. Admins and Managers can also edit the entry manually after the fact.

Admins and Managers can reassign any entry to a different user or project. Locate the entry, click the three dots icon, select Edit, update the project field, and click Save.

Time entries don't require a project. Crew can clock in without selecting one, and that time still shows up in reports.
