Clocking In/Out for Time Tracking (Beta)

Easily track and document your on-site hours for projects right in the mobile app.

Time Tracking lets your crew log hours against a Project right where the work happens. Clock in and out from your phone with a photo if you want the proof or add and edit entries by hand. It all lands on one time sheet you can export for payroll.

This feature is in Beta and available on select plans. Plan availability is subject to change.


On the web

Creating a new time entry

Note: All permission roles can track their own time. Restricted Users only see Projects they created or were assigned to.

  1. Go to Time Tracking on the left sidebar.

  2. Click + New Entry.

  3. Fill in the details, including your Start Time and End Time

  4. Click Clock In.

  5. Each entry shows its source, so you can see whether it was created in the mobile app or on the web. Entries from the mobile app also show the clock-in location when the User has location permissions turned on.


Editing a time entry

Note: Admins and Managers can edit or reassign entries for anyone on the team.

Open Time Tracking, find the entry, then click the Three-Dot Icon > Edit. Make your changes and click Save.


Deleting a time entry

Go to Time Tracking, click the Three-Dot Icon next to the entry, then click Delete.

Creating a time entry with a photo

  1. Tap the + Icon on the home screen.

  2. Tap Clock In.

  3. Choose Select a Project or No Project, then tap Take a Clock-In Photo or Skip.

  4. Tap the Tracking Time icon at the top to clock out.

  5. Tap Take a Clock-Out Photo or Skip.


Creating a time entry manually

  1. Tap Time Tracking on the home screen.

  2. Tap My Time.

  3. Tap Clock In.

  4. Fill in the details, which include your Start Time and End Time, then tap Save.


Viewing your time sheet

Tap Time Tracking on the home screen, then tap My Time to see your recorded entries.


Deleting a time entry

Tap Time Tracking, tap the entry, tap the Trash Icon, then tap Delete.


FAQs

Will users get reminders to clock in or out?

Yes. Push reminders are sent only to crew members who haven't already clocked in or out. There are also long-running timer alerts to catch forgotten clock-outs, and a midnight auto-stop as a last line of defense.

Can an admin fix a missed clock-in for an employee?

Yes. Admins and Managers can add, edit, and reassign entries in a few clicks — no need to track the employee down.

Can data be exported?

Admins and Managers can download a CSV export formatted for payroll handoff.
