CompanyCam gives you 2 ways to communicate with your team directly in the app: Project Conversations and Photo Comments. Use Project Conversations to keep a running thread tied to the job, and Photo Comments to leave feedback or notes on a specific photo.
On the web
Project Conversations
Log in to CompanyCam and open the Project your team is working on.
Click the expandable Side Bar Icon on the right side of the screen.
Click the Comment Box in the Project Conversation panel.
Click the @ Icon or type @ to @mention a group or individual team member to notify someone. Mentioned team members are notified based on their notification settings.
Type your comment and click Post.
Note: If a message was written in a different language than your device settings, toggle between the original and translated text by clicking See Original or See Translated.
Adding a Photo Comment
Log in to CompanyCam and open the photo you'd like to comment on.
Click on the Comment Box to leave a note under the Comments section.
Click on the @ Icon or type @ on your keyboard when commenting to @mention groups or individual team members within your message. Team members who are @mentioned will receive a notification depending on their notification settings.
Type your comment and click Post.
In the app

Open the Project you and your team are working on.
Tap on the Message Icon at the bottom left.
Click the @ Icon or type @ to @mention a group or individual team member to notify someone. Mentioned team members are notified based on their notification settings.
Type your message and tap Post.

Open the photo you'd like to comment on.
Tap the Comment Icon.
Click the @ Icon or type @ to @mention a group or individual team member to notify someone. Mentioned team members are notified based on their notification settings.

No, Project Conversations and Photo Comments cannot be edited or deleted after they are published.

Translations are available for Photo Comments and Project Conversations. Comments left in any language are translated into either English or Spanish, depending on the User's default language settings.
