Creating and Modifying User Groups

Learn how to create and edit User Groups in CompanyCam to organize photos by crew or job position.

User Groups let you organize your Users by crew, job position, or however else makes sense for your team. Once you create a Group, you can see all the photos uploaded by that Group in one place.

This feature is only available on the web app.

Create a Group

Note: Admins and Managers can create and manage User Groups.

From the Team tab, click User Groups at the top of the page.

  1. Click + Create Group.

  2. Name the Group and select the Users you want to add from the dropdown.

  3. Click Create Group.

Your new Group now shows up under the Groups tab. From there, you can see which Users are in the Group, which photos each User has uploaded and to which Project, when those photos were uploaded, and filter through the photos.

Modify a Group

From the Team tab, click User Groups at the top of the page. Find the Group you need to change and click the three dots icon on the Group card, then click Edit Group.

  1. Update the Group name or members as needed.

  2. Click Update Group.
