Google Calendar is a time management and scheduling tool. The CompanyCam integration links your Google Calendar account to CompanyCam, so you can turn a Google Calendar event into a Project, or send a Project's details to Google Calendar as an event.
This article covers how to connect the integration, choose which calendars to sync, and disconnect it if you need to. For how syncing actually behaves day-to-day, see Using the CompanyCam + Google Calendar Integration.
This feature is only available on the web app.
Note: You need Admin or Manager permission in CompanyCam to connect or disconnect this integration. Ask an Admin on your account for help if you don't have this permission.
Connecting the integration
Click App Marketplace in the left sidebar, under Integrations.
Search for the Google Calendar card.
Click Connect.
Sign in to the Google account you want to link, and grant CompanyCam permission to view your calendars.
Note: You can select more than one calendar. Every calendar you have access to in Google Calendar — personal or shared — shows up in this list.
Select one or more calendars from the list, then click Save.
Important: You need at least one calendar selected to save. CompanyCam won't let you save with none selected.
Reconnecting Google Calendar
If you connected Google Calendar before the calendar picker was added, your existing setup keeps working as-is. You'll need to reconnect once to grant CompanyCam permission to read your calendar list before you can change which calendars are selected.
Click App Marketplace in the left sidebar, under Integrations.
Click the Google Calendar card.
Click Reconnect, sign in to Google, and grant the requested permissions.
Select your calendars and click Save.
Disconnecting the integration
Click App Marketplace in the left sidebar, under Integrations.
Find the Google Calendar card.
Click the card, then click Disconnect.
Note: Disconnecting stops new events and Projects from syncing between the two platforms. It doesn't delete any Projects or events you've already created.
