Integrating CompanyCam with Job-Dox

Connect CompanyCam and Job-Dox for effortless, always-up-to-date job documentation!

Job-Dox is a project management platform for tracking calls, emails, texts, and job progress in one place. Connecting it to CompanyCam automatically creates a linked CompanyCam Project whenever you start a new Job-Dox Project, so your crew's photos land in the right place without extra setup.

This feature is only available on the web app.

How the integration works

Creating a new Project in Job-Dox is what triggers the sync and automatically creates a matching Project in CompanyCam. Photos you take in that CompanyCam Project then show up inside the corresponding Job-Dox Project's Photos section.

Setting up the integration

Note: Admins can connect CompanyCam to Job-Dox.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. From Settings, click CompanyCam in the left-hand menu.

  4. Check the box to enable the integration, then enter your CompanyCam username (email address) and the access token you generated.

  5. Click Save.

FAQs

Why isn't my Job-Dox project showing a CompanyCam album?

Check that the integration status in Job-Dox Settings reads Active. If it says Failed, your username or access token is likely incorrect or expired. Generate a new token in CompanyCam and re-enter it.

Do I need to create the CompanyCam Project manually?

No. Creating a new Project in Job-Dox automatically creates the matching CompanyCam Project. You don't need to create anything in CompanyCam yourself.
