CompanyCam

Leap is a cloud-based business platform for contractors that covers estimating, invoicing, and job management. Connecting CompanyCam to Leap links your Leap Jobs to CompanyCam Projects, so job site photos and files are available to attach to estimates and invoices without leaving Leap. This article covers making that connection. This feature is only available on the web app.

Note: Only <a href="https://help.companycam.com/en/articles/14010242-permission-roles-explained">Admins</a> can connect CompanyCam to Leap.

Log in to CompanyCam on a web browser. In the left sidebar, scroll down to the Integrations section and click Access Tokens.

On the Access Tokens page, click New Application Key.

On the next page, select Leap from the Application dropdown.

Click Create Token. You'll be taken back to the Access Tokens page. ​

Copy the key from the Access Tokens page.

Log in to Leap, click the Menu Icon in the upper-right corner, and select Settings.

Go to Partnerships/Integrations, find the CompanyCam Tab, and click Connect.

Paste the Application Key you copied from CompanyCam, then click Connect. ​

1. Log in to CompanyCam on a web browser. In the left sidebar, scroll down to the Integrations section and click Access Tokens.
2. On the Access Tokens page, click New Application Key.
3. On the next page, select Leap from the Application dropdown.
4. Click Create Token. You'll be taken back to the Access Tokens page. ​
 
 
5. Copy the key from the Access Tokens page.
6. Log in to Leap, click the Menu Icon in the upper-right corner, and select Settings.
7. Go to Partnerships/Integrations, find the CompanyCam Tab, and click Connect.
8. Paste the Application Key you copied from CompanyCam, then click Connect. ​

Once connected, photos you take in CompanyCam are available to view and save to Jobs in Leap.

No. Integrations can't be connected in the CompanyCam or Leap mobile apps. Set up the connection using a web browser.

Can I connect this integration from the mobile app?

No. Connecting the integration doesn't import any existing Leap Jobs into CompanyCam. Only Jobs created after you connect will automatically create or link to a Project.

Will my existing Leap Jobs be imported when I connect?
