Connecting CompanyCam and Contractors Cloud means that creating or opening a job in Contractors Cloud automatically creates a matching Project in CompanyCam, so your job site photos live right alongside your Contractors Cloud jobs. Contractors Cloud is a CRM and project management platform built for roofing, siding, exterior, and restoration contractors. This article covers connecting the two, how the sync works, how to link a job to a different Project, and how to disconnect.
This feature is only available on the web app.
How the integration works
Once you're connected, creating or opening a job in Contractors Cloud creates a matching Project in CompanyCam, as long as Automatically create places within CompanyCam is turned on.
Here's what moves between the two:
Jobs to Projects: Creating or opening a job in Contractors Cloud creates a matching Project in CompanyCam.
Photos to jobs: Photos from the linked CompanyCam Project appear in the job's Photos in Contractors Cloud.
To open the linked Project from inside a job, click the CompanyCam icon in the top icon bar. You can also link a job to an existing Project instead of creating a new one. See Linking a Job to a Different CompanyCam Project below.
Linking a Job to a Different CompanyCam Project
If a job is linked to the wrong CompanyCam Project, or you want to link it to one that already exists, you can change it. These steps happen in Contractors Cloud.
1. Open the job in Contractors Cloud.
2. Click Photos/Files.
3. Click Change Project.
4. In the Search for a CompanyCam project field, search for the Project (for example, by customer last name), then click Find.
5. Select the correct Project, then click OK to confirm.
The linked Project's photos now appear in the job.
Note: To unlink a job from its Project without choosing a new one, click Disconnect on the Change Project screen.
Setting up the integration
