ProLine is a CRM built for residential roofing and remodeling companies that helps teams manage leads, jobs, and customer communication in one place. This integration connects your CompanyCam and ProLine accounts, so photos, videos, and documents you capture in CompanyCam can sync into your ProLine project files. Once connected, you can link Projects by hand or set up automatic project creation so job site media is waiting in ProLine without extra work.

This feature is only available on the web app.

How the integration works

You connect CompanyCam and ProLine from ProLine's Integrations menu. Once connected, you can link a CompanyCam Project to a ProLine Project manually, or set up an automation that creates and links a new CompanyCam Project when a ProLine workflow step runs.

Media syncs one direction: photos, videos, and documents captured in CompanyCam flow into a CompanyCam folder inside the linked ProLine Project's Files tab. Media added directly in ProLine doesn't sync back to CompanyCam, and the underlying files stay tied to your CompanyCam account.

Setting up the integration

Note: Admins and Managers can connect the ProLine integration. Check with your ProLine admin for the equivalent role there.

Syncing photos, videos, and documents

Open the Files tab in a ProLine Project.
Click Add Content and choose CompanyCam.
Enter a project name or address to find the matching CompanyCam Project.
Click Link.

A CompanyCam folder appears in the Files tab and pulls in existing photos and documents.

To sync automatically going forward, add a Send to CompanyCam step to a ProLine workflow (for example, Appointment Reminders), then activate that workflow step. Once active, booking an appointment creates and links a CompanyCam Project automatically, and photos, documents, and videos captured afterward sync without manual steps.

Note: A CompanyCam Project can only link to one ProLine Project. If another ProLine Project shares the same address, it won't appear as a link option.

To pull in anything missing after linking, click Add Content > CompanyCam and select Sync. This retrieves missing photos and documents, not videos.

Note: Videos sync automatically only, and only if the Projects are already linked at the time the video is recorded. Videos never sync through the manual Link or Sync process.

Managing synced media in ProLine

Open Boards, select the Project, click the Files tab, then open the CompanyCam folder to view synced photos, videos, and documents.

Important: Media synced from CompanyCam isn't permanently stored in ProLine. If your CompanyCam account is deleted, that synced media is no longer accessible in ProLine.

To control who can see synced media:

Open the Files tab in the Project and click the CompanyCam folder.
Click the share icon in the folder toolbar.
Select Public or Private.

Public makes the folder visible to anyone with the link, including customers viewing a Project Portal URL. Private limits it to your ProLine account.

Unlinking a project

Open the Files tab in the Project, click Add Content, select CompanyCam, then choose Unlink Project.

Note: If you unlink and relink a Project, videos recorded during the original link period won't re-sync. Only new videos recorded while the Projects are linked will appear.

Does media sync from ProLine back into CompanyCam?

Media doesn't sync from ProLine back into CompanyCam. Only content captured in CompanyCam flows into ProLine.

Can a CompanyCam Project link to more than one ProLine Project?

A CompanyCam Project can only link to one ProLine Project at a time. If another ProLine Project shares the same address, it won't show up as a link option, and files need to be uploaded directly in that Project's Files tab instead.

Do videos sync the same way as photos and documents?

Videos don't sync the same way as photos and documents. Videos sync automatically only, and only when the Projects are already linked at the time of recording — they can't be pulled in through manual syncing.

What happens if I delete my CompanyCam account?

Synced media becomes inaccessible in ProLine if you delete your CompanyCam account, since it isn't stored permanently on ProLine's side.
