Integrate with ServiceTitan to easily create linked Projects from Jobs in ServiceTitan!

Before you start

  • You must have an active paid account with CompanyCam and ServiceTitan to integrate the two services.

  • You must have Admin privileges in CompanyCam and the proper permissions in ServiceTitan to integrate the two.

Please Note:

The ServiceTitan integration is currently in a closed beta. Only those within the beta group will have access to the integration.

What’s Included in the Beta?
This beta will include the following functionality:

  1. Automatically create CompanyCam projects from ServiceTitan jobs that have been dispatched or reached “In Progress” status.

  2. A link to your CompanyCam project will be added to the end of the job summary in the matching ServiceTitan job.

  3. ServiceTitan Job Type labels will be attached to CompanyCam projects.

  4. Then, once a job in ServiceTitan is completed, the matching project in CompanyCam will be archived.

We plan on adding more to the integration but would like your initial thoughts on the items listed above!

What’s NOT Included in the Beta but will be available for the full release:
Everything from the Beta, PLUS:

  1. Photos, videos, and documents will sync from CompanyCam back to the ServiceTitan Job.

  2. We will support a manual sync of your ServiceTitan jobs that are in progress at the time of setup.

What is ServiceTitan?

ServiceTitan is a cloud-based software platform built to power trades businesses. By bringing an integrated SaaS platform to an industry historically underserved by technology, ServiceTitan is equipping tradespeople with the technology they need to keep the world running.

How it works

Dispatched Jobs in ServiceTitan will sync to CompanyCam as matching Projects! The matching ServiceTitan Job will receive a link out to the CompanyCam Project making it easy to reference the matching CompanyCam Project. The link will be added to the end of the summary section of the matching ServiceTitan Job. Jobs that have been canceled, completed, or put on hold will be archived in CompanyCam Automatically!

  1. Fill out and Book a new Job in ServiceTitan.

  2. Projects in CompanyCam will not be generated from a Job in ServiceTitan without being activated. Assign and Dispatch your ServiceTitan Booked Job.

    You will know the Job should be syncing to CompanyCam once the status changes from "Scheduled" to "In Progress".

  3. Once that has been added and Dispatched you should see a matching CompanyCam Project generated in your Project Feed. (Keep in mind this can take 2-5 minutes to generate) This Project will include the Job Number and Client name as well as a Label with what type of Job it was if applicable.

  4. Back in your ServiceTitan Job under Job Summary, a Project linkout should be available to take you back to the Project on both the web or app versions!

    Work on your Projects and add content as needed. Once a Job is completed, put on hold, or canceled, and an invoice is saved this will trigger the matching CompanyCam Project to be archived automatically!

  5. To archive a Project, Complete, Hold, or Cancel a Job.

  6. Complete the Invoice as needed and hit Save.

  7. Once that is complete your Project will be archived and moved from your general Project feed to your Archived feed!

  8. You can view your Archived Projects in CompanyCam by clicking on the Archived filter or searching by project name or address.

Setup

  1. Click on the Integrations Tab in CompanyCam.


    2. Select the ServiceTitan Card.

  2. Click Connect in the top right corner.

  3. Here you will Paste your Tenant ID from ServiceTitan into CompanyCam to begin the setup process.

  4. To find this Tenant ID go to your settings In Service Titan select Integrations, then under Integrations select API Application Access. Or you can go here. Your Tenant ID should be available on the Top right side.

  5. Copy this ID and then Paste it into the Tenant ID box in CompanyCam.

  6. Once that is complete you should see this message. This means your request to integrate is being processed and you will be seeing final steps to integrate shortly! These are typically taken care of within one business day.

  7. You will know you are ready to complete your setup once the prompt above changes to the message below! Once you see this you just need to add your Client ID and Secret from ServiceTitan to CompanyCam.

  8. This is found by going back to the integrations section in ServiceTitan here and clicking the Edit button on the new CompanyCam Integration box. Here is where you can find this Client ID and Client Secret.

  9. Here is where you can find this Client ID and Client Password. Copy and paste these both into the Integrations box in CompanyCam and hit Save.

  10. Once that is saved in CompanyCam, you should be connected! You will see an option to disconnect in the top right corner in case you ever need to remove the integration or reconnect it.

  11. If you ever need to reconnect it, select Disconnect, as pictured above. Then paste in the same Tenant ID you grabbed earlier and hit Save.

  12. Next, you can grab your Client ID and Secret Password from ServiceTitan again to reconnect it!
