The Dropbox integration backs up your CompanyCam Projects to Dropbox automatically. Once you connect your account, every new Project you create syncs its photos, videos, and files to a matching folder in Dropbox in real time.
This integration is available on select plans and is only available on the web app.
Connecting Dropbox to CompanyCam
Note: Admins and Managers can connect the Dropbox integration in CompanyCam. In Dropbox, anyone on a Personal account can connect. For a Dropbox Team account, you'll need to be part of the shared folder.
Log in to CompanyCam > click Integrations under Resources > select the Dropbox card > click Connect.
If you're connecting a Dropbox Business Team account, paste your shared Team Folder link into the field, then click Connect. If you're using a Dropbox Personal account, leave the field blank and click Connect.
That's it. CompanyCam is now connected to Dropbox.
How the sync works
Important: This integration only syncs Projects created after you connect Dropbox. Projects created before you connected won't sync, and there's no way to sync them retroactively.
Once you're connected, CompanyCam creates a CompanyCam Projects folder in Dropbox. If you connected a Business Team account, this folder lives inside your shared Team folder.
Every time you create a new Project in CompanyCam, a matching subfolder appears inside your CompanyCam Projects folder in Dropbox. The Project also gets a Dropbox Label in CompanyCam, so you can tell at a glance that it's syncing.
Any photos, videos, or Files you add to a synced Project automatically sync to its matching Dropbox subfolder.
You can move your CompanyCam Projects folder anywhere in your Dropbox account. Select the Gear Icon next to the folder and choose Move.
