Assigning a Project Task puts it in front of the right person, so nothing falls through the cracks. Once you assign a Task to a User, they get notified and can track it through to completion.

Assigning Users to Project Tasks
Note: Admins, Managers, and Standard Users can assign Project Tasks. If you don't have this permission, ask an Admin or Manager on your account.
Open the Project you want to work in.
Click the expandable Sidebar icon on the right if the panel is collapsed.
In the Tasks section of the sidebar, click the Assign icon next to the Task.
Search for and select the User you want to assign.
Once assigned, the User's icon appears next to the Task.
Unassigning Users from Project Tasks
Click the icon of the User you want to remove in the Tasks section, then click Unassign.

Open the Project you want to work in, then tap the To-Dos tab.
Tap the Task tab.
Tap the Task you want to assign a User to.
Tap the Assign icon.
Select or search for the User(s) you want to assign.
Tap Assign.
Tap Save to confirm your changes.
Unassigning Users from Project Tasks
Open the Task you want to unassign a User from.
Tap the assigned User's icon within the Task editor.
Tap the X next to the User you want to remove.
Tap Save to confirm your changes.
