Assign Project Tasks to Users

Have some outstanding Project Tasks that need to be completed? Assign Project Tasks to your Users to help get things done!

Before you start

  • Tasks cannot be assigned to Project Collaborators.

  • Users will receive a notification once they've been assigned to a Project Task.

  • Multiple Users can be assigned to a Project Task.

On the web

Assigning Users to Project Tasks

  1. Log into CompanyCam and open a Project.

  2. Within the Tasks Section in the far right panel, click on the Assign Icon.

  3. Next, use the Search Bar and type in the name of the User you'd like to assign.

  4. Once you've found the User, click on their name to assign.

  5. Once assigned, you will see each User's Icon next to the Task.

Unassigning Users from Project Tasks

  1. Sign in to CompanyCam and open a Project.

  2. Within the Tasks Section in the far right panel, click on the User Icon you'd like to unassign from the Task.

  3. Click the Unassign Button to remove the User.

Assigning Users to Project Tasks

  1. Log in to the CompanyCam app.

  2. Open the Project you'd like to work in.

  3. Tap on the Tasks Tab within the Project.

  4. Next, tap on the Task you'd like to assign a User to.

  5. Once in the Task Editor, select the Assign Icon.

  6. Select or use the search function to find the User(s) you want to assign.

  7. Once you've selected the User(s), tap Assign.

  8. Tap the blue Save Button to save your changes.

Unassigning Users from Project Tasks

  1. Log in to the CompanyCam app.

  2. Open the Project you'd like to work in.

  3. Tap on the Tasks Tab within the Project.

  4. Open the Task you'd like to unassign a User from.

  5. Tap on the User Icon within the editor.

  6. Tap on the 'X' next to the User you want to remove.

  7. Once you've removed the User, select the Assign Icon.

  8. Tap the blue Save Button to save your changes.
