Invoices let you collect money from customers without leaving CompanyCam. Set up Stripe once, then send an Invoice Request that your customer can pay by link, by Tap to Pay, or by card you enter for them.
On the web
Connect Stripe to CompanyCam
Note: You need the Admin or Manager role to connect Stripe to CompanyCam.
Click Invoices in the left navigation menu.
Click Set Up Stripe and follow the prompts. We use Stripe to process Invoices and keep everything secure. If Stripe needs more information, you'll see a Finish Setup option. For the full walkthrough, see Connecting Stripe to CompanyCam.
Once Stripe is connected, you can start requesting payment from your Invoices.
Requesting a payment from an Invoice
Note: All permission roles can create an Invoice and request payment. Standard and Restricted Users can only view, edit, and delete the requests they created.
Before a payment can be collected, you must first create an Invoice.
Click on the Invoices Tab in the left-hand navigation menu or open a Project and click into the Sales Tab.
Click + Create Invoice.
Choose whether your Invoice is a one-off for a Project or is tied to a Proposal, link the Proposal if applicable, and select Create.
Next, build your Invoice. You can add line items, edit the tax percentage, adjust acceptable payment methods, include a memo, or include photos and Files from your Project.
After you've created your Invoice and are ready to collect payment, click Share. A share link will be copied to your clipboard so that you can send it to your customer.
When your customer opens the shared Invoice link, they will have the option to Pay Invoice and submit payment.
