Payment request statuses
Each payment request displays a status label so you know exactly where things stand. Here's what each one means.
Draft
The payment request was created but hasn't been sent to the customer yet.
Sent
The payment request has been sent to the customer and is waiting on payment.
Payment Processing
The customer submitted a payment and it's currently being authorized by Stripe. This is common with ACH payments and some card transactions and usually resolves within a few business days.
Processing
Payment confirmed by Stripe. The deposit is on its way to your bank account but hasn't arrived yet. You'll see an estimated deposit date below this label.
Note: When a payment moves to Processing status, a customer confirmation email is sent automatically. ACH payments may take a bit longer in this stage.
Paid
The payment has fully settled and the deposit is in your bank account.
Payment Failed
The payment attempt failed. The customer will need to retry.
Refund Pending
A refund has been started but hasn't settled yet.

Payout schedule
Initial payout: Your first payout typically takes 7–14 days after successfully receiving your first payment. Subsequent payouts follow your account's payout schedule.
Settlement timeline: This is the time between when a payment is made and when funds become available in your Stripe account.
Credit and debit cards: ~2 business days
ACH: ~4 business days
Payout options:
Manual payouts: Choose when to send payouts and how much to transfer. Funds typically arrive same-day or within 1–4 business days.
Instant payouts: If available, an instant payout option will appear in your Stripe dashboard.
Weekly or monthly payouts: Schedule payouts on a recurring basis from within your Stripe dashboard.
Note: If your scheduled payout day doesn't exist in a given month (for example, the 31st in a 30-day month), Stripe moves the payout to the last day of that month. If a payout falls on a weekend or holiday, funds arrive the next business day.
