Payments is not available on Basic. Upgrade your plan to take advantage of this feature.
The Tap to Pay option is not available on Legacy subscription plans. Upgrade your plan to take advantage of this feature.
Accounts that are in trial can set up the Payments feature, but cannot create or send Payment Requests until their trial ends and they upgrade to Pro, Premium, or Elite.
To set up the Payments Feature, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission; here's what they'll need.
All permission roles can create new Payment requests. Standard and Restricted Users can only view, edit, and delete Payment requests they've created.
Accepting Payments is only available in the United States.
Please Note
Customers can pay via a web link (that's mobile-friendly), Tap to Pay, or you can manually enter their card information.
Tap to Pay requires an iPhone XS or later running a one-year or later iOS version (18.6).
Tap to Pay on Android works with a variety of Android devices.
Customers can pay via credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or ACH (powered by Stripe).
Processing fees include:
Tap to Pay: 2.5% + $0.30 per transaction
Online & Premium cards: 3% + $0.30 per transaction
ACH: 1% or up to $10 fee per transaction
No Sales Tax or Line Items can be added. Each Payment Request will be a single dollar amount.

Setting Up Payments
On the web
Log in to CompanyCam and click on the Payments Tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
Once within the Payments Tab, you'll be prompted to Set Up Stripe if you haven't already. CompanyCam uses Stripe to process Payments and keep everything simple and secure. Note: If more information is required while setting up Stripe, you'll see an option to Finish Setup.
Once you've onboarded into Stripe, you'll be able to begin requesting Payments.

Log in to CompanyCam and open a Project.
Click on the Payments Tab.
Next, you'll be prompted to Set Up Stripe if you haven't already. CompanyCam uses Stripe to process Payments and keep everything simple and secure. Note: If more information is required while setting up Stripe, you'll see an option to Finish Setup.
Once you've onboarded into Stripe, you'll be able to begin requesting Payments.
How to Request a Payment
On the web
OR
Open a Project you'd like to request a Payment for.
Click on the Payments Tab and select + Request Payment.
Give the Payment a Title, Total, and Memo, and select Create.
In the app
Open the Project that you'd like to request a Payment for and tap on the Payments option.
Tap + Payment Request to start a request.
Enter the Payment amount you'd like to request and tap Create. On this page, you'll also have the option to title the Payment Request and add a Memo.
Select how you'd like to request a Payment. You'll have the option to manually Enter Card Info, use Tap to Pay, or Share a Link with your customer to pay. Note: If you are on a Legacy subscription, you will need to upgrade your plan in order to use Tap to Pay.
If using Tap to Pay, select Allow to give CompanyCam access to Bluetooth.
Tap your compatible payment method on the device to collect payment. The collection screen will display differently based on whether you're using an iOS or Android device.
Once the Payment is received, select Done.
You will be able to view the completed Payment in the Payments section of your Project.
FAQs
What's the minimum dollar amount that can be requested for Payments?
The minimum dollar amount is $0.50.
What's the maximum dollar amount that can be requested for Payments?
As of February 25, 2025, the transaction limit for each Payment Request is $2,500.
You will continue to have access to your existing transaction limit if you've been using Payments before February 24, 2025.
How long does it take for Payments to process?
Credit Card Payments can take up to 1 business day to process into your Stripe account.
ACH Payments can take up to 5 business days to process into your Stripe account.
After you request a payout within your Stripe account, it can take up to 2 days for the funds from Stripe to process into your bank account.
