Before you start

  • To create and send payment links you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission; here's what they'll need.

  • Creating a payment link is only available on the Web App.

  • Homeowners can pay via a web link (that is mobile-friendly) or within the Trusty app.

  • Accepting payments is only available in the United States.

Please Note:

  • In order to get started requesting and sending payment links through Trusty, Contractors must be approved by CompanyCam.

  • No Sales Tax or Line Items can be added. Each payment request will be a single dollar amount.

  • Contractors can send a link to a customer and customers can pay via credit card, apple pay, google pay, or ACH (powered by Stripe).

  • The end homeowner can pay with cards (3% fee for the contractor) or ACH (1% fee for the contractor).

Request and Set Up Trusty Payments

On the Web

  1. Log into CompanyCam and open the Project you'd like to create a link for.

  2. Select the Customer App icon at the top of the page.

  3. Select Request Access to Payments from within the Trusty panel. This will open a request form to fill out.

  4. Once the request form has been approved by CompanyCam, you'll have the option to Set Up Payments.

  5. You'll next be prompted to set up Stripe if you haven't already. CompanyCam uses Stripe to process payments and keep everything simple and secure.

  6. Once you've onboarded into Stripe, you'll be able to begin requesting payments.
