Create and Use Project Templates

Projects are an important part of CompanyCam and new Project Templates make it easier to create Projects more efficiently!

Before you start

  • Project Templates are not available on Basic or Pro. Upgrade your plan to take advantage of this feature.

  • To create Project Templates, and set/remove Default Project Templates, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission;

  • Managing Project Templates is only available on the Web.

Create a Project Template

  1. Log in to CompanyCam.

  2. From the left-hand navigation bar, select Templates.

  3. Select + Create Project Template.

  4. Name the Project Template and add a description.

  5. Select and add any Checklist Templates, Report Templates, or Project Documents that you’d like included within the Project Template. Once selected, click on Add to Project Template.

Note: Changes made to your Project Template will be updated and saved automatically.

Set or Remove a Default Project Template

  1. From the Templates Manager page, click on the Projects Tab.


  2. Click on the Three Dots Icon on the right side of the Project Template you'd like to save as a default, and then click on Set as Default Template.

    OR

  3. To remove the Default Template, click on the Three Dots Icon on the right side of the Project Template, and select Remove as Default Template.

Using a Project Template

On the Web

  1. Create a New Project.

  2. Enter Project Details (Name and Address) and then select Use Project Template.

  3. Select the Project Template that you'd like to use.

  4. Select Create Project to begin adding or uploading photos.

In the app

  1. Log into CompanyCam.

  2. Select + New Project.

  3. Type the Project Address or Confirm the Project Location.

  4. Name the Project and select Use Project Templates.

  5. Select the Project Template that you'd like to use. Once you've selected your Project Template, tap on Create.

  6. Your Project has now been created, from here, you can start taking or uploading Project photos!

Now that you've created your project, you can start capturing and uploading photos!
