Create and Use Pages Templates

Pages are a useful tool in CompanyCam, and Pages Templates make it easier to quickly add your commonly used Pages to multiple Projects.

Before you start

  • Pages Templates are not available on Basic or Pro. Upgrade your plan to take advantage of this feature.

  • To create and manage a Pages Template, you'll need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission; here's what they'll need.

  • Managing Pages Templates is only available on the Web.

  • Videos cannot be saved within a Pages Template.

Create a Pages Template

On the web

  1. Log into CompanyCam.

  2. Open the Project you're working on.

  3. Click on the Pages Tab and open the Page you'd like to create a Template for.

  4. To create the Template, click on the Three Dots Icon in the upper right corner of the Page, then click Save as New Template.

  5. Title your new Template and click Save.

In the app

  1. Log into CompanyCam and open a Project.

  2. Tap on the Pages Tab inside your Project and select the Page you'd like to create a Template for.

  3. Tap on the Three Dots Icon in the top right corner of the Page.

  4. From the slide-up menu, tap Save Page as Template.

  5. Give your Template a title and tap Save Template.

Using a Pages Template

On the web

  1. Log into CompanyCam.

  2. Open your Project and click on the Pages Tab.

  3. Click + Create Page and then Use Existing Template.

  4. Select the Pages Template you'd like to Use. After selecting your Template, the Page will be added to your Project.

In the app

  1. Open the Project that you'd like to add a Pages Template to.

  2. Tap on the Pages Tab.

  3. Select the blue + Page Icon and then Use a Template.

  4. Tap on the Pages Template you'd like to use from your Template Library. After selecting your Template, the Page will be added to your Project.
