Connecting CompanyCam with Jobber keeps your job site photos and videos organized alongside your Requests, Quotes, and Jobs without any manual work. When a new property is added in Jobber, a CompanyCam Project is created automatically — and photos sync back to Jobber as your work progresses. Once you're connected, take a look at how the integration works day-to-day, so your team knows what to expect.
This integration is available on select plans and is only available on the web app.
Setting Up the Integration
Note: You must have Admin or Manager permissions in both CompanyCam and Jobber to set up this integration.
In the left-hand navigation, under Resources, click Integrations.
Find the Jobber card and click it.
Click Connect to begin the integration process.
A settings pop-up will appear. If you want your Jobber client contact information to sync to the Contact Info section of your CompanyCam Projects, check the box next to Sync Primary Contacts to CompanyCam.
Click Save.
You'll be prompted to allow CompanyCam access to your Jobber account. If you aren't already signed in to Jobber, enter your credentials to authorize the connection.
Once connected, the Jobber card will display "Connected" on your Integrations page.
Setting Up Auto Assign Users
The Auto Assign Users feature automatically assigns team members to new Clients, Quotes, and Jobs in CompanyCam based on who's assigned in Jobber.
Note: Auto Assign Users does not apply to Client Requests in Jobber. It only works for new Clients, Quotes, and Jobs.
Go to Integrations and find the Jobber card.
Click Edit on the Jobber card.
Check the box next to Auto Assign Users.
Click Save.
Keep these two things in mind when using Auto Assign Users:
Email addresses for users in Jobber must match those in CompanyCam for automatic assignment to work correctly.
When enabled, users assigned through Jobber will overwrite any existing users already assigned to the corresponding CompanyCam Project.
Creating a Custom Field to Link CompanyCam Projects in Jobber
Note: You must be on Jobber's Connect or Grow plan to use custom fields.
Adding a custom property field in Jobber automatically populates a direct link to the corresponding CompanyCam Project. This lets you open a CompanyCam Project directly from a Quote, Job, or Invoice page in Jobber.
Click the gear icon in the top right of your Jobber home page, then click Settings.
In the left sidebar, click Custom Fields.
Under Properties, click + Add Field.
Fill in the custom field details exactly as shown in the screenshot below, then click Create Custom Field.
Important: The custom field must be named exactly CompanyCam Project (with a space between the two words). Any variation will prevent the link from populating automatically.
Disconnecting the Integration
If you run into issues or want to refresh the connection, you can disconnect and reconnect the integration at any time from the Integrations page.
