Reactivate a User

If you have a deactivated User that needs access again, you can quickly give them access, no need to send a new invite!

Before you start

Plan Requirements

  • This feature is available on all plans.

Permission Roles

  • To reactivate a User, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission.

  • Managers can reactivate Users with the Manager, Standard, and Restricted roles. They cannot reactivate a deactivated Admin.

Platform Availability

  • Reactivating a User is available on both the web and mobile apps.

On the web

  1. Log in to CompanyCam.

  2. Select the Team Tab in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. Search for the User ID in your User list.

  4. Click the Three Dots Icon in the upper right corner of the User's card.

  5. Select Reactivate.

In the app

  1. Tap My Team on the homescreen.

  2. Tap the Three Dots Icon to the right of the Deactivated User.

  3. Select Reactivate.

Once you've reactivated them, you may want to double-check their permissions and edit them to ensure they have access to what you need them to have.
