If a Project's name or address changes, you can update it anytime.

Note: To edit Project Details, you need the Admin, Manager, or Standard role.
Editing Project Details
Log in to CompanyCam.
Find the Project you need to edit and open it.
Click the 3 Dots Icon near the top right of the Project, then select Edit Project.
From here, you can edit the Project name and/or address. Once you're finished, click Save Project.
Add or edit the Project Description
The Project Description isn't just a notepad. It's where you leave the details your crew needs before they knock on the door. Good things to include:
A gate or door code
Special instructions for entering the home, like a side door or no doorbell
Where to park equipment or trucks
A property manager or tenant's contact info, if it's different from the Customer on file
Access windows, like "customer works nights, best to arrive after 3 PM"
Safety notes, like a loose dog or an uneven driveway
To add a Description, click on the + sign next to Description and add your notes to the text box.

Note: To edit Project Details, you need the Admin, Manager, or Standard role.
Open the Project you're working on.
Tap the Menu Icon at the top right of the Project.
Tap Edit Details.
Edit the details you need to change, then tap Save.
Add or edit the Project Description
Scroll to the bottom of the Project Details page, then click +Description.

If you can't edit the Project details, check that you have the correct permissions. Admins, Managers, and Standard Users can view and edit the Project Description, whereas Restricted Users can only view it.

Collaborators invited to a Project can't see or edit the Project Description. Consider adding information to the Project Conversation if your invited Collaborator needs visibility into certain information.

Can I draw a Geofence after a Project has been created?
A Geofence can't be used as the Project address after the Project has already been created. If you'd like to use a Geofence, you need to use it when initially creating the Project.
