Create a Project without a Street Address

Here's how to create the project using the GPS coordinates vs. the street address.

Before you start

Plan Requirements

  • This feature is available on all plans.

  • Using Project Templates is available on select plans. If you’re interested in access, our team can help walk you through your options.

Permission Roles

  • All User Permission Roles can create a Project without a Street Address.

  • After you create a Project using GPS Coordinates, Admin, Managers, and Standard Users can arrive at the job site and see this Project in the Nearby Projects list. Restricted Users must be assigned to the Project to see it.

Platform Availability

  • Creating a Project without a street address is available on both the web and mobile apps.

On the web

  1. Log in to CompanyCam.

  2. Within the Project Feed, click on the + Create Button.

  3. Select + New Project or Use a Template.

  4. Use the Project Address section at the left to get into the general area - search a highway name, intersection, nearby business, etc.

  5. Drag the pin to the exact position for the Project.

  6. Edit the Project information fields on the right, and then click Create Project.

In the app

  1. Open CompanyCam, tap on the + Button.

  2. Next, choose Create Project.

  3. Move the Map around until the Pin is exactly where the Project is located and tap the Confirm Button.

  4. After creating the Project, you can edit the Project details as needed, then tap Create Project on the bottom of the screen.

  5. You can now start taking or uploading Project photos!
