Create a Project without a Street Address

Here's how to create the project using the GPS coordinates vs. the street address.

Before you start

  • After you create a Project using GPS Coordinates, any User can arrive at the job site and will see this Project in the Nearby Projects list.

On the web

  1. Log in to CompanyCam.

  2. Click on the + Create Project Button in the upper right corner of your Project Feed.

  3. Select Place a Pin.

  4. Use the search field at the top left to get into the general area - search a highway name, intersection, nearby business, etc.

  5. Drag the pin to the exact position for the Project.

  6. Edit the Project information fields on the right, and then click Create Project.

In the app

  1. Open CompanyCam, tap on the + Circle Icon OR you can also tap on the camera button at the bottom of the home screen.

  2. Move the Map around until the Pin is exactly where the Project is located and tap the Confirm Button.

  3. After creating the Project, you can edit the Project details as needed, then tap Create Project in the upper right corner OR on the bottom of the screen.

  4. You can now start taking or uploading Project photos!
