EagleView provides aerial imagery and roof measurement reports used for estimating and proposals. Once your CompanyCam and EagleView accounts are connected, you can order a measurement report for any Project without leaving CompanyCam.
This article covers ordering reports, what happens after you order, and where delivered reports show up. For help connecting your accounts, see Connecting EagleView to CompanyCam.
How the integration works
EagleView isn't something you configure per Project — once your accounts are connected, ordering happens entirely inside CompanyCam. You request a report from a Project, EagleView processes it, and the finished PDF is delivered back into that Project's Documents.
This integration only sends report orders to EagleView and receives finished reports back. It doesn't sync photos, videos, or other documents between CompanyCam and EagleView in either direction.
Ordering a measurement report
Note: You need Admin or Manager permissions in CompanyCam to order a Report. Each Project also needs a complete address — a street address plus either a city and state, or a ZIP code.
Open the Project you want a Report for.
Click the three dots icon in the top-right of the project.
Under Integrations, select Order EagleView Report.
In the order window, choose your options:
Report type — Premium – Residential, Bid Perfect™, QuickSquares, and more.
Delivery — how fast you need it. Faster options may cost more.
Structures to measure — which structures on the property to include.
Optionally, check "The roof was built or altered in the last 4 years" and add any Special instructions for EagleView.
Click Place order.
Important: EagleView bills you directly for Reports. The order window shows an estimated price range for the Report type and delivery speed you choose, but final pricing is set by EagleView and isn't part of your CompanyCam subscription.
Reports already at this address
Before you place a new order, CompanyCam checks your EagleView account for any reports already placed at the Project's address — including ones ordered through CompanyCam, directly in EagleView, or any other way. These show at the top of the order window with their status (Completed, Need To Id, Duplicate, In Progress, and others). If a Report needs your attention, the order window tells you what to do next.
You can order as many Reports as you'd like for a Project. Each previous order stays visible above the order form the next time you open it.
What happens after you order
Once you place an order, EagleView starts processing your Report — you don't need to check back in EagleView. Most Reports are ready within a few hours, though delivery time depends on the delivery speed you chose. Occasionally EagleView needs extra time to verify the property, which can add to that timeline.
While your order is processing, it shows up in the order window's list of existing reports for that address. Once it's ready, that same entry updates to a Completed status, and the PDF is automatically added to the Project's Documents.
