Camera settings control the image quality and aspect ratio of photos you take in the CompanyCam mobile app. Adjust these settings to balance file size, photo detail, and framing based on what each job needs.
This feature is only available on the mobile app.
Accessing camera settings
Tap your User Icon at the top of the Home screen > Settings > Camera, then make your adjustments.
You can also reach settings from inside the camera: tap the Settings Icon in the top right of the Camera view > All Camera Settings.
In Camera Settings, you set your preferred image and video quality and aspect ratio. You can also turn on or off any of the following options:
Quick Caption - Lets you add a caption to a photo right after taking it, without leaving the camera screen.
Edit Mode - Automatically opens Edit Mode as soon as a photo is captured, so you can make changes before saving.
Date/Time & GPS Stamp - Adds the date and time or GPS location directly onto each photo as it's taken.
Open to Camera - Makes the camera the first screen you see when you open the app, instead of another page.
Save Images/Videos to Device -Automatically saves a copy of each photo to your device's gallery, in addition to keeping it in the app.
Important: Changes to Camera Settings only apply to new photos. Existing photos in your Projects won't be affected.
