Text Scanning lets you copy text straight out of a photo in the CompanyCam mobile app. Use it to grab things like model numbers, permit info, or spec sheets without retyping them by hand.

This feature is available on select plans and is only available on the mobile app.

Tap the photo that has the text you want to copy.

Tap the Scan Icon to turn on the Text Scanner.

Paste the text into a Photo Description, Comment, or Page.

1. Open a Project.
2. Tap the photo that has the text you want to copy.
3. Tap the Scan Icon to turn on the Text Scanner.

4. Tap the text you want to copy.
5. Paste the text into a Photo Description, Comment, or Page.

Text Scanning is only available on the mobile app.

All Permission Roles can use Text Scanning.
