Tags let you label a photo in more than one way, so you're never stuck filing it under a single category. Once photos are tagged, you can filter by Tag to pull up exactly what you need, whether you're inside one Project or scanning your whole Photo Feed.
Tags vs. Folders
Many software programs force you to file each photo into one folder. Tags work differently: you can apply more than one Tag to a photo, so it shows up everywhere it's relevant instead of being buried in a single place.
Example Using Tags & Filters
When you open a Project, you can see every photo taken at this Project, nothing is hidden. By using Tags and filtering by Tags you can organize your Projects individually and your Project Feed to display only the images you need at the time. There are two ways to view tags in Projects.
Show Tags in a Project
To show All Tags within the Project, open the Project > click on View > and then toggle On Show Tags (this option will be black when On).
Another option, you'll be able to filter by specific Tags within a Project, to do this open the Project > click on Tags > search or select the Tags you'd like to filter by.
Filtering by Tag on the Photo Feed
To filter from the Photo Feed, you'll want to click on Photos on the left sidebar > click on the Tags option > search or select the Tag(s) you'd like to filter by. You can also filter by date range, Projects, Users, and Groups.
For example, when the "Start" and "Top" Tags are selected, photos with those Tags will be visible.
