Using Project Feed Views in the App

Learn how to use the Nearby, Recent, Starred, and Company feed views to find and filter your Projects in the CompanyCam app.

The Project Feed gives you 4 ways to find the right job fast. Switch between Nearby, Recent, Starred, and Company to cut through the noise and get to the Project you need.

Switching between Project Feeds

Under the Project Feed Section of the mobile home screen, tap any feed pill to switch views: Nearby, Recent, Starred, or Company.

Nearby

The Nearby feed shows Projects closest to you. It uses your device's GPS, so location permissions need to be on for CompanyCam.

Note: If your Nearby feed is empty, check that location permissions are turned on for CompanyCam in your device settings.

Recent

The Recent feed shows the Projects you've opened or updated most recently. It's a quick way to pick up where you left off.

Starred

The Starred feed shows Projects you've marked with a star. Tap the star icon on any Project card to add it here. Any User can star a Project, no matter their role.

Company

The Company feed shows Projects across your whole account.

Note: Restricted Users only see Projects they created or were assigned to in every feed, including Company.

Browsing the full Company Feed

Tap See All in the Workspace section to open the full Company Feed. From here you can browse Photos, Projects, Project Groups, and Reports across your account.

Filtering Projects

Tap Filter in the Projects Tab to narrow your Project list. You can filter by Date (Project creation date), Users (team member), and Labels (Project label). Use the All and Archived toggles to switch between active and archived Projects.

Note: Filters reset when you leave the Company Feed, so you'll reapply them each visit.
