Connecting CompanyCam and GetTheReferral means that whenever an advocate creates an account in GetTheReferral a synced Project will automatically be created in CompanyCam, so the photos that you add to CompanyCam will show up in the Your Company app. In this article, we'll show you how easy it is to set up CompanyCam with the branded mobile app, GetTheReferral. GTR is a tool that puts your branded app in the hands of your customers right from the point of sale to help streamline, automate, and amplify the referral process.
This feature is only available on the web app.
How the integration works
Once you're connected, a new entry in GetTheReferral (GTR) creates a matching Project in CompanyCam.
Here's what moves between the two:
GTR Entries to Projects: When an advocate creates a new entry, it will create a matching Project in CompanyCam.
Photos to your advocate: Photos from the linked CompanyCam Project appear in the advocate's Your Company app.
Setting up the integration
Note: Admins can connect GTR to CompanyCam.
Before connecting with GetTheReferral (GTR), you'll need to create an Application Key in CompanyCam.
After you've created your Application Key and copied it, log in to GetTheReferral.
In the left-hand menu, click Integrations > CompanyCam and paste the Application Key into the Auth Token field.
Congratulations! Your integration between CompanyCam and GTR is complete.
