Before you start
Plan Requirements:
This feature is available on all plans.
Permission Roles:
To retrieve an API key, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission; here's what they'll need.
Platform Availability:
Retrieving an API key can only be done in the web app.
On the web
Log in to CompanyCam on a web browser.
Click on your User Icon and choose Access Tokens.
Click New Token.
From there, select the integration you're looking to connect from the drop-down menu and click Create Token. If your supported integration is not listed, select N/A.
Note: Do not select “This token will ONLY be used to read data from CompanyCam.” Choosing this will make the token read-only and prevent the integration from syncing information properly.
Copy the Access Token you just created.
That’s it! Your API key is ready to use. Paste the copied Access Token into your integration to complete the setup.
