Building a Checklist by hand takes time, and typing updates while you're on a job site isn't always practical. With AI features for Checklists, you can talk instead of typing — describe what needs to get done to build a Checklist, or talk through what you've finished to complete one.
This feature is only available on the mobile app and on select plans. The number of AI Actions included varies by plan — contact our team to learn more.
Creating a Checklist with voice
Tap into the Project you'd like to create a Checklist for, then open the To-Dos tab.
Tap the + Icon, then choose Checklist from Voice.
Talk out loud and describe what needs to get done. CompanyCam builds a Checklist based on what you describe.
Tap the blue Pause Button if you need to pause your recording.
Tap Done when you're finished, and CompanyCam builds your Checklist.
Completing a Checklist with voice
Tap into the Project that contains the Checklist you're working on, then open the To-Dos tab.
Open the Checklist you want to complete.
Tap the Microphone Icon to talk your way through completing the Checklist.
Talk out loud and describe what you've finished. Tap the Camera Icon next to a Field to take a photo while recording.
Tap the Pause Icon to pause the recording, then tap Done when you're finished.
