Xcelerate Restoration Software is a job management platform built for restoration contractors. Connecting it to CompanyCam means every new Job in Xcelerate creates a matching Project, so your job site photos live right alongside your Xcelerate Jobs. This article covers connecting the two accounts and how the sync works once you're set up.
This integration can only be set up on the web app.
How the integration works
Once connected, the two platforms stay in sync as you work:
Create a new Job in Xcelerate.
A matching Project is created in CompanyCam automatically.
Take or upload photos in that CompanyCam Project.
Your photos sync back to the Job in Xcelerate, where you can manage them and build PDF reports.
In Xcelerate, synced photos appear under External > CompanyCam Folder.
Setting up the integration
Note: You must have the Admin role to connect CompanyCam to Xcelerate Restoration Software.
Before connecting with Xcelerate Restoration Software, you'll need to create an Application Key in CompanyCam.
After you've created your Application Key, log in to your Xcelerate account and navigate to Admin > Integrations.
Click the Pencil Icon next to CompanyCam.
Enter the email for the CompanyCam User who created the Application Key.
Paste in the Application Key.
Set the integration to Active.
Click Update.
That's it. Your accounts are connected.

Your Application Key may have expired. Application Keys default to a 30-day expiration. Create a new key in CompanyCam with No expiry set, then paste it back into Xcelerate under Admin > Integrations. A key also stops working if the CompanyCam user who created it is deactivated.
