QXO sells roofing, siding, and waterproofing materials. Connect your QXO account and you can pull the products you already buy straight into your CompanyCam Price Book, at QXO's prices, then drop them into Proposals and Invoices. We recheck those prices every 24 hours, so you're not quoting off last month's numbers.
This integration is available on select plans and is only available on the web app.
Connecting CompanyCam to QXO
Admins and Managers can connect QXO.
Log in to CompanyCam and go to Integrations > App Marketplace.
Click the QXO Card, then click the Connect Button.
Sign in to QXO and allow the connection.
Back on the QXO page, click Edit.
Choose your Account, which is the QXO account you order against.
Click Save.
Pick the account you actually order materials from. That's what sets your prices and what's in stock. Until you pick one, QXO shows as Action Required and nothing syncs.
Adding QXO items to your Price Book
Your QXO catalog holds what you've bought in the last 180 days, plus anything you've favorited in QXO. Nothing moves into your Price Book until you put it there.
Admins and Managers can add items to the Price Book.
Go to Price Book under Sales.
Click the QXO catalog Pill.
Click Add on each item you want.
Click the My price book Pill to see them in your list.
Added items carry QXO's full description, QXO's price, and QXO's unit type, whether that's per roll, per bundle, or anything else. They show a blue QXO label so you can tell them from items you typed in yourself. Markup is still yours: we never set what you charge.
If the item you need isn't in your catalog, type what you're after in Search this catalog. Once you've typed 2 characters, Not in this catalog? appears at the bottom of the catalog. Click the Search the full supplier catalog Button beside it to reach everything QXO carries, including things you've never ordered. Nothing goes to QXO until then.
Using QXO items in Proposals and Invoices
Once an item is in your Price Book, it behaves like any other line item.
Open a Proposal.
Click Add from Price Book.
Click the QXO catalog Pill to pull something new, or stay on My price book.
Tick the items you want, set a quantity on each, then click Add Item.
Important: the price locks when you add the item to a Proposal. If QXO's price moves overnight, your sent Proposal keeps the number your customer saw. Delete the line and add it again to pick up the new price.
Adding an item from the QXO catalog inside a Proposal also saves it to your Price Book, so you only ever add it once. The full catalog search is in here too, in the same place and with the same wording.
Invoices work from your Price Book only. QXO items you've already added behave like any other line item there, at the price we last refreshed. Add from Price Book in an Invoice has no catalog pills, so add anything new to your Price Book first, then add it to the Invoice.
FAQs
How often do QXO prices update?
How often do QXO prices update?
QXO prices update once every 24 hours, overnight. Every item you've added to your Price Book is rechecked against the price at the account you chose, so your Price Book stays close to what you'll actually pay.
Why does an item say No QXO price?
Why does an item say No QXO price?
An item says No QXO price when QXO isn't quoting a price for it at your account right now, usually because it's out of stock there. The item stays in your Price Book, and a price comes back once QXO quotes one again.
Can I change the price of a QXO item?
Can I change the price of a QXO item?
The unit cost comes from QXO and we keep it current, so changing it by hand only lasts until the next update. Your markup is different, and so is a price you change on one Proposal. Those are your company's own, and we never overwrite them.
What happens if I delete a QXO item?
What happens if I delete a QXO item?
Deleting a QXO item removes it from your Price Book and stops it being repriced. Nothing changes in QXO. Add it again from the QXO catalog whenever you want it back.
Why is my QXO catalog empty after connecting?
Why is my QXO catalog empty after connecting?
An empty catalog means you haven't bought from QXO in the last 180 days and haven't favorited anything there. Use Search the full supplier catalog to find what you need.
Can I use the QXO catalog on my phone?
Can I use the QXO catalog on my phone?
The QXO catalog is on the web app only. Price Book items you added on the web work everywhere a Price Book item works.
Is QXO available outside the US and Canada?
Is QXO available outside the US and Canada?
The Price Book is available in the US and Canada only, and the QXO catalog lives in the Price Book, so it follows the same rule.
