Setting up your Stripe account
Log in to CompanyCam and click on the Payments Tab in the left-hand navigation menu, and click Start Setup.
You'll be prompted to gather some key information that'll be helpful when creating your Stripe account. Once you've gathered this information, click OK, I'm Ready.
Next, you'll be routed to Stripe's setup page. If you have an existing Stipe Express account, you'll be prompted to log in. Otherwise, enter your email address to create an account.
Next, you'll follow the prompts on screen and add your Business Type.
After you've entered your Business Type information, the business representative will be asked to verify their personal details. This information should be for the business representative who has the authorization to sign in to the Stripe Account on your organization's behalf. The information collected during this step is there to verify your identity, keep your account safe, and meet legal and regulatory requirements. Make sure the dedicated person is filling out the form with their legal name, email address, date of birth, home address, phone number, and the last four digits of their Social Security number. Once filled in, click Continue.
Next, you'll be asked to add some additional Business Details. Once complete, click Continue.
Now that your Business Details have been added, you'll be able to add your Banking Information. Select or search for your bank. Once found, enter the account details you'd like to have Payments sent to, and then click Continue.
After your Banking Information has been added, you'll next add Public Details for Customers. Once entered, click Continue.
Finally, you'll review the information you provided and click Agree and Submit.
