Estimate Rocket is a growth and CRM system for contracting companies — job and client management, CRM tools, and team collaboration in one place. Connecting it to CompanyCam means Projects are created automatically as you work Estimates, and job site photos sync back and forth without anyone uploading twice.

This integration is available on all plans and only available on the web app — it can't be connected in the mobile app.

Connecting the integration

Note: You need the Admin role in CompanyCam to connect this integration. Ask an Admin on your account for help if you don't have this permission.

Setup happens on Estimate Rocket's side. Follow their Integration Instructions and Documentation to connect your accounts.

How it works

Creating a Project in Estimate Rocket automatically creates a matching Project in CompanyCam. Upload photos to that CompanyCam Project and they sync back to the Estimate Rocket entry in real time. From Estimate Rocket, click the green plus button near photos to jump straight back into the CompanyCam Project and capture more.

Add your Project in Estimate Rocket.
The Estimate Number and address pull into CompanyCam as a new Project.
Upload photos to the Project in CompanyCam.
Photos appear back in the Estimate Rocket entry in real time.
Click the Green Plus Button in Estimate Rocket to jump back to the CompanyCam Project — this opens a new tab on desktop, or the CompanyCam app on a mobile device.

Creating a CompanyCam Project from an existing Estimate Rocket entry

You can start documentation for an entry that already exists in Estimate Rocket — regardless of its status — by updating its action inside Estimate Rocket.

If there's No Status:

Select Schedule Estimate under Actions.
Schedule your Estimate in Estimate Rocket.
Once the action shows Complete Estimate, check CompanyCam for the new Project.

If the Estimate has been Scheduled:

Select Unschedule Estimate.
Schedule the Estimate again in Estimate Rocket.
A Project is created in CompanyCam.

If the Estimate has been Completed:

Choose Accept Work on the Estimate Rocket entry.
A Project becomes available in CompanyCam.

FAQs

I have an old Estimate Rocket entry with no CompanyCam Project — can I create one?

Yes. Update the entry's action in Estimate Rocket — see Creating a CompanyCam Project from an existing Estimate Rocket entry above — regardless of whether the entry has No Status, is Scheduled, or is Completed.

Can I connect this integration from the mobile app?

No. Integrations can't be connected in the CompanyCam mobile app — set this up using a web browser.

What permission do I need to connect Estimate Rocket?

You need the Admin role in CompanyCam. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission.
