How to Download / Save Photos from CompanyCam

Your photos live on the cloud in CompanyCam, but if you need to save them else where you can always download the photos to save them!

Before you start

  • Downloading photos from CompanyCam is an account-level feature and is available to all permission levels.

  • If you're downloading photos on the web, all multi-photo downloads will be packaged in a zipped file on your device.

On the web

Download all photos in the Project:

  1. Sign in to CompanyCam.

  2. Open the Project you want to download photos from.

  3. Click on the Three Dots in the top right of the project and choose Download All Photos from the drop-down menu.

  4. Enter the email address you wish to send the downloadable files to.

  5. Choose what kind of files you want if they have been edited. Note: If photos aren't edited, you won't see this option.

    1. Original will be the photos of how they were originally taken or uploaded into CompanyCam.

    2. Modified will download the photos with any photo edits/markups.

  6. Your download will go to the email you entered. Also, you can click the blue Download Photos in the browser.

Save multiple photos:

  1. Select the first photo by clicking on the Square Icon on the photo.

  2. Click on each additional photo's square icon you would like to save. Or you can hold the Shift Key and select the checkmark on the last photo to select all photos in between.

  3. Click Actions from within the menu at the top of the page.

  4. Then click Download.

  5. Enter the email address you wish to send the downloadable files to.

  6. Choose what kind of files you want if they have been edited. Note: If photos aren't edited, you won't see this option.

    1. Original will be the photos of how they were originally taken or uploaded into CompanyCam.

    2. Modified will download the photos with any photo edits/markups.

Your download will go to the email you entered. Also, you can click the blue Download Photos in the browser.

Save photos from one day:

  1. Click the Square Icon next to the date to select the photos.

  2. Click the Actions Button within the menu at the top of the page.

  3. Click Download.

  4. Enter the email address you wish to send the downloadable files to.

  5. Choose what kind of files you want if they have been edited. *If photos aren't edited, you won't see this option.*

    1. Original will be the photos of how they were originally taken or uploaded into CompanyCam.

    2. Modified will download the photos with any photo edits/markups.

Your download will go to the email you entered. Also, you can click the blue Download Photos in the browser.

Save a single photo:

  1. Click the Three Dots Icon in the upper right corner of the photo thumbnail.

  2. Click Download.

  3. Choose what kind of files you want if they have been edited. Note: If photos aren't edited, you won't see this option.

    1. Original will be the photos of how they were originally taken or uploaded into CompanyCam.

    2. Modified will download the photos with any photo edits/markups.

  4. The photo will download in your browser window and you can go to your computer's Downloads folder to access them.

In the app

Auto-save all photos taken in-app to your device

*Photos will auto-save to your device when taken in the app when this is turned on.

*This feature is user-specific. Individual users will need to turn this on or off within their own accounts.

  1. Tap your User Profile in the lower right corner. Then tap the Gear Icon in the upper right corner to access Settings.

  2. Next, tap on Camera.

  3. Scroll down to Save Images to Device and tap the toggle on the right to On/Off to enable or disable (if the toggle is blue it's On).

Select photos to save to your device

  1. Open a Project and tap on the Photo Stack to view all photos.

  2. Tap the Select Photos Icon in the upper right corner.

  3. Tap the photos you want to download to select them. A blue circle with a checkmark should appear in the upper left corner of the photo thumbnail to show they're selected.

  4. Tap the Three Dots Icon in the bottom right corner. Choose Save to Device to save the photos to your camera roll.
