Connecting CompanyCam to HubSpot

Learn what HubSpot is and how to connect it to CompanyCam so that new Deals and Contacts automatically create Projects.

HubSpot is a CRM for managing your marketing, sales, and customer records in one place. Connect it to CompanyCam, and every new Deal or Contact can spin up a matching Project automatically, so your job-site documentation lives right alongside the customer record. This feature is only available on the web app.


Connecting HubSpot

Important: Connect to the newest version, HubSpot V2. Search for HubSpot V2 under All Integrations > open the card > click Connect > follow the setup instructions.

You'll need an active CompanyCam account and a HubSpot account to connect the two.

Note: You need Admin permissions in both CompanyCam and HubSpot to set up this integration.

  1. Log in to CompanyCam > open Integrations (under Resources in the left-hand menu).

  2. Find the HubSpot card and click Connect.

  3. In the pop-up, choose what creates a new Project: Deals or Contacts. Most teams pick Deals, since they track a job through a pipeline stage. Click Save.

  4. Sign in to HubSpot, or create an account, when the HubSpot window opens.

  5. Pick the HubSpot account you want to connect, then click Choose Account.

  6. Click Connect App. HubSpot sends you back to CompanyCam.

  7. Optionally, use the dropdown to pick the exact Deal stage or Contact lifecycle stage that should create a Project. Leave it blank, and every new Deal or Contact creates one, no matter the stage.

  8. Click Save.

Note: CompanyCam connects to one HubSpot account at a time.

Integrations can only be set up on the web app, not in the mobile app.
