Before you start
LiDAR Mode is not available on Basic, Pro, or Premium. Upgrade your plan to Elite to take advantage of this feature.
Only available on mobile for certain iOS devices. These iPhone/iPad Pro devices can collect depth data with LiDAR; however, any device or web browser User can add measurements to a photo with LiDAR depth data.
Please Note
LiDAR measurements are approximate and best used for estimating. For best results, we recommend standing between 3-15 feet away from the object you're measuring. It's also helpful to avoid transparent or reflective surfaces.
On the web
Measure photos
Open a Project and click on the Photos Tab.
If a photo has LiDAR data, you'll see a Measure Icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the photo. Click on the Photo to open it.
Click on the Curved Line Icon to open the photo editor.
Within the editor, click on the Measure Icon within the toolbar and click on the area you'd like to measure.
After you've added your measurements, click Done.
Once you've finished adding annotations, click on the green Checkmark Button to save.
In the app
Enable LiDAR Mode
Tap on your My Stuff Icon.
Tap on the Settings Icon.
Choose Camera under the Preferences section.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enable LiDAR Mode.
Take photos using LiDAR
Tap on the Camera Icon as you normally would when taking a photo.
Choose the Project you'd like to take photos in.
Once in the capture tool, tap on the Measure Button.
If prompted, tap Got It.
Stand 3-15 feet away from the object you're measuring and take photos as normal.
Once you've finished, tap Done.
Measure Photos
After you've taken your photos, you'll see a Measure Icon next to each photo you took when LiDAR Mode was enabled.
To measure your photo, tap on the Curved Line Icon to open the photo editor.
Next, tap on the Measure Icon and tap on the area you'd like to measure.
Once measured, tap on the green Checkmark Icon.
Add any additional annotations (if needed), then tap Save.

Q. What iPhone models are compatible with LiDAR Mode?
A. iPhone Pro and Pro Max devices that have a LiDAR sensor can use this feature. This sensor is included on the iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max and newer Pro/Pro Max models.
Q. What iPad models are compatible with LiDAR Mode?
A. iPad Pro devices with a LiDAR sensor can use this feature. This includes:
iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) and 11-inch (M4)
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) and later
iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) and later
Q. Can Android devices use this feature?
A. No, not at this time.
