How to Create an Invoice Using Pages

Need to create an Invoice for your client? Our Pages feature can help!

Before you start

Plan Requirements:

  • This feature is available on select plans. If you're interested in access, our team can help walk you through your options.

Permission Roles:

  • This is an account-level feature and is available to all permission roles.

Platform Availability:

  • This feature is available on both the web and mobile apps.

On the web

  1. Log in to CompanyCam and open the Project you'd like to create an Invoice for.

  2. Click on the Pages Tab and select + Create Page.

  3. A blank Page will generate. From here, you can click More Templates to search for our pre-made Invoice Templates.

  4. Within the Example Templates Tab, type "invoice" in the search bar to filter and choose one of the available pre-made Invoice Example Templates.

  5. After you've selected an Invoice Example, a Template Preview will be available. Click Use Template to add it to your Project.

  6. Once the Page has been created, you can use the editor to customize the layout of the Invoice. The editing tools are listed at the bottom of the Page. In order from left to right, they are:

    • Header Size

    • Bold

    • Italic

    • Underline

    • Color

    • Checkbox

    • Bulleted List

    • Numbered List

    • Use Text Snippets

    • Insert Link

    • Add Photos

    • Add Table

    • Undo

    • Redo

  7. After you've created your Invoice, you can share it with your client by clicking the Share Button at the top of the Page or export the Invoice to PDF by clicking Export PDF.

    When you export a Page as a PDF, the Page will be saved as a File within your Project automatically. This way, you can request Signatures for your Pages or sync your Pages to any integration that supports File syncing.
