Before you Start

  • To start integrating the two, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission.

  • You must have an active account with both CompanyCam and Contractor+ in order to integrate the two services.

What is Contractor+?

Contractor + is one field service management solution that powers everything you do. A complete field service management app Solution that helps you manage your client relationships and work productively as a team. All your estimates, invoices, client contracts, post-inspections, and everything else you need to run your business is accessible in one dashboard.

How it works

How To Automatically Sync Photos From Contractor+ To CompanyCam:

This is all automated! When you take photos in Contractor+, they'll automatically sync to your CompanyCam account under the relative project. If a project in CompanyCam doesn't already exist for the service address, it will be created automatically.

How To Manually Add Photos From CompanyCam To Contractor+:

This works on Estimates, Invoices, Post-Inspections & Jobs. Anywhere and everywhere you can attach photos inside Contractor+, you have the option to select photos from CompanyCam.

Step 1: Click "Add Photos" from any estimate, invoice, post-inspection or job.

Step 2: Select "Add Photos From CompanyCam"

Step 3: Select the photo(s) you wish the add to the report you're currently working on and when you're done click "Add CompanyCam Photos"

That's it! Your selected photos will be added where you need them!

Note: Contractor+ will only display photos related to the same service address (which is the project address in CompanyCam). You can also further filter the photos list by selecting specific tags when browsing for photos to add.

How To Use Tags In CompanyCam To Automatically Link Photos To Their Related Projects In Contractor+

Step 1: From the CompanyCam dashboard, select your current project.

Step 2: Select a photo or select multiple photos you'd like to tag, and from the "Actions" menu at the top click on "Tag".

Step 3: Add tags relevant to the selected photo(s). For example, if you want a photo to attach to an estimate, add the exact estimate number i.e. "EST-000002" as a tag. The same goes for invoices, post-inspections, and jobs. When you're finished adding your tag(s), click "Tag Photos".

It's that easy! Your photos will automatically attach to the relative report(s) in Contractor+.

How To Link Your CompanyCam Account To Contractor+:

Step 1: Click on "Settings" from the bottom of the main menu.

Step 2: Click on "CompanyCam" from the settings menu.

Step 3: Click on the "Connect to CompanyCam" button.

Step 4: Log in to your CompanyCam account and & authorize the connection. That's it! You're connected!
