Before you start

  • The Website Map is not available on Basic, Pro, or Premium. Upgrade your plan to Elite to take advantage of this feature.

  • To access the Website Map feature, you need to have the Admin or Manager role. If you don't have that role, ask an Admin on your company's account for permission; here's what they'll need.

  • Only published Showcases will appear on your Website Map; here is how to create a Showcase.

  • We can help you get the code installed on your site with our website experts. Send an email to [email protected] or chat in the app to get started.

  • Depending on your website provider, you may need to upgrade to a higher plan to add custom code.

  • The Website Map can be published on your webpage, or you can create your own Portfolio Site, no coding required!

Website Map FAQs

Q. Can a Website Map be installed on multiple webpages?

A. Yes!

Q. Can I create multiple Website Maps?

A. No, at this time, each CompanyCam account can only have 1 Website Map.

Q. Does the Website Map work with GoDaddy/Google Sites/Wix?

A. Yes—Wix/GoDaddy/Google Sites support adding in widgets like this, for example, Wix has documentation on how to add these in, as do GoDaddy and Google Sites.

Q. Is there a fast way to add all of my past Projects to the Website Map, instead of having to create a Showcase for each one?

A. Not at this time.

Q. Why are some of my Showcases not appearing on the Website Map?

A. The Project that is used to build a Showcase must have GPS coordinates attached. During Project creation or editing, searching for an address or clicking on the map will satisfy that requirement and successfully plot any corresponding Showcase on the Map.
